Another tip when creating wordles, is fitting the wordle onto your blog, in the space provided. To make it fit into your blog, change the width or height in the code. I changed the width from 499 to 400 to make this wordle fit into this space.

I saw this on televsion this morning, whilst I was watching a video clip of the John Butler Trio, so I’m not sure if they came up with it, or someone else did. Leave a comment if you think you know what it means. I think it’s fabulous.

Because I am not going to see you this week either, I would love to hear how your week or weekend went. Let me know in a sentence. Remember the things you know about a sentence.

1. One conjunction (or joining word) one full stop.
2. Sentences begin with capital letters.
3. Each sentence should contain a verb.
4. If you use a noun, then remember to add an adjective to make your sentence more interesting.

Ok bloggers, here are a few tips on creating your own wordles.

1. If you want a certain word to appear larger than the others, write this word several times
2. If you want a group of words to appear together, use the tilde key ~ between words
3. Don’t forget to save your screen dump as a Jpeg.

When I get back, I am going to help you to create your own “Wordle” Mrs Mirtschin might teach you how to do it before then. This is a wordle I created about my favourite places. Have a think about the words you might select for your own wordle. Some topics might be: favourite places; friends; things I like to do; different languages; pets etc.
