Tag Galaxy - thanks to Mrs Gow

Well how cool is this! Thanks to Mrs Gow for discovering the Tag Galaxy web 2.0 tool. Select a tag or topic you wish to work with, in this instance my tag was “Kids”, and then the Tag Galaxy site will search Flickr photos for you to use. Select the photos and then let the site do the rest.

Print your screen (using the Print screen button on your keyboard) and paste it into Paint. Crop your globe and save it as a Jpeg. Insert it into your post as an image, and there you have it. Too easy.

Think of your own tags - topics which interest you, and have a go at creating your own. Insert them into your own blogs.

Another tip when creating wordles, is fitting the wordle onto your blog, in the space provided. To make it fit into your blog, change the width or height in the code. I changed the width from 499 to 400 to make this wordle fit into this space.

Because I am not going to see you this week either, I would love to hear how your week or weekend went. Let me know in a sentence. Remember the things you know about a sentence.

One conjunction (or joining word) one full stop.
Sentences begin with capital letters.
Each sentence should contain a verb.
If you use a noun, then remember to add an adjective to make your sentence more interesting.

Ok bloggers, here are a few tips on creating your own wordles.

If you want a certain word to appear larger than the others, write this word several times
If you want a group of words to appear together, use the tilde key ~ between words
Don’t forget to save your screen dump as a Jpeg.
