Hi technokids. I am at a PD in Warrnambool today on Friendly Schools / Friendly Classrooms, so I will be full of smiles when I get back tomorrow:) Now, during period 3 today, I want you to plan (OPCRC) and write a story by finishing this story starter.

Nothing looked familiar. Nothing smelt or sounded the way it should. The colours around me were different and the sounds I could hear were all strange. The last thing I remembered was crawling into my bed last night and snuggling down with Hugo, my teddy bear with the lopsided grin.  Now here I was this morning, in this strange environment, with Hugo, dangling by one arm from my clenched fist. I heard a weird sound and I looked up………

Here it is. Another week, another sentence. This week my sentence is:

Last week we discovered that Storm, our Red Tailed Black Cockatoo, is a cock bird.
